Jan Jaap Spreij ("JJ") is one of the technical wizzards who (together with Paul and Nique at Webtic) designs, builds and keeps going the Doors communications infrastructure: website, newsletter, milk deliveries, that sort of thing.Historical note: JJ is helping out with technical production at the conference on Saturday - but he has not come all the way to India to fix your laptop. Kristi van Riet (right) designed the first website in The Netherlands a few weeks back. She is director of the Doors of Perception Foundation and our web producer (for which she won a Peoples Voice Award at the Webbies in '99).

Kristi van Riet, started her carreer in 1990 as producer of Mediamatic Interactive Publishing where she made the first website of the Netherlands. Kristi co-produced the first Doors of Perception conference (1993), produced the award winning DopRom and co-organised the second Doors of Perception @Home conference (1994). During Doors 3 she concentrated on the website. Kristi van Riet was a member of the steering committee for the new media faculty at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, consulted Interaction Design Institute Ivrea on their web activities and co-programmed and produced Teacherslab (for thousand professors). Kristi has a background in Graphic Design and Art History at the University of Amsterdam.
